Terms and Conditions

  • Minimum age: 18 years.
  • Free withdrawals and deposits are allowed at any time, provided that withdrawals do not exceed four (4) per month.
  • Periodic returns are added to the savings account.
  • Exceeding four (4) withdrawals in a month disqualifies the account from earning returns for that month.
  • Minimum opening balance: 100 Jordanian dinars (or equivalent in foreign currencies). Accounts with a balance below 100 dinars are subject to a 1-dinar low balance fee per month.
  • Accounts become dormant after two years of inactivity (no withdrawals or deposits). A dormant account incurs a 2-dinar monthly fee, with a maximum of 6 dinars across all accounts.
  • No checkbook is issued.

Required Documents

  • A valid identification document (civil status ID, passport, military ID/appointment certificate, Gazan ID, non-Jordanian children of Jordanian mothers ID, service card for the Syrian community).
  • A document proving residency and a work permit (for non-Jordanians).
  • A proof of address (a copy of the lease contract or public utility bills or apartment title deed).
  • A proof of employer (salary certificate or employee card).
