Services

New Account Opening Services

New customers can easily and quickly open a bank account using the tablets (iPads) available inside the branch.
This service allows for electronic data entry without paperwork or waiting.

Terms & Conditions:

  • The user must have a valid Jordanian ID.
  • A valid email address and mobile number are required.
  • The user must be 18 years or older.

Card Issuance Services

The digital branch enables you to instantly issue a new ATM card via a self-service machine. Simply follow the on-screen steps and enter your data. Your card will be printed and ready for use within minutes.

Usage Conditions:

  • The client must be a registered “Individual Customer” of Safwa Islamic Bank.
  • Identity verification is done via the “Safwa Mobile” app or an active ATM card issued by the bank.
  • Each customer may issue up to 5 ATM cards.
  • Fees are waived for the first-time issuance.

Account & Payment Management Services

Open a Sub-Account

You can open new sub-accounts (current or savings) in various currencies via the interactive screen.

 

Open a Term Deposit

Invest your money securely and confidently by opening a deposit that suits your needs. You can choose between primary or maturity deposit and set the amount and duration according to your financial plans.

 

Transfer Between My Accounts (Within Safwa Bank)

Easily transfer funds between your various accounts at Safwa Bank using the interactive screen.

 

Transfer to Local Banks

Transfer your funds to any account within local banks in Jordan using the payment screen.Transfer your funds to any account within local banks in Jordan using the payment screen.

Usage Conditions:

  • The client must be an “Individual Customer” of Safwa Islamic Bank.
  • The service is available only for active debit cards (ATM cards) for individual clients.

Currency Exchange & Transfer Services

The digital branch allows you to exchange approved foreign currencies (USD, EUR, SAR, AED) into Jordanian Dinar directly and in cash via the currency exchange machine.

Usage Conditions:

  • The service is cash-to-cash only.
  • Available for individuals holding personal ID cards from Safwa Islamic Bank, local banks within Jordan, and international banks.
  • Accepted currencies: SAR, AED, USD, EUR.
  • The minimum exchangeable amount is equivalent to 10 JOD per transaction.
  • The cash is dispensed only in available banknote denominations; no coins or amounts less than 1 JOD are given.

Cash Withdrawal & Deposit Services

Cash Withdrawal

Withdraw money easily using a valid ATM card, whether issued by Safwa Bank or any other bank, through the ATMs.

Cash Deposit

Deposit cash directly into your bank account via ATM using a valid ATM card, for both individual and business accounts.

Change Password

Securely change your ATM card PIN through the ATM.

Balance Inquiry

Easily check your account balance through ATMs.
