Safwa Islamic Bank Renews Commitment to Support Tkiyet Um Ali’s Programs
Safwa Islamic Bank has renewed its strategic agreement with Tkiyet Um Ali (TUA), reaffirming its commitment to supporting the organization’s ongoing and seasonal programs, campaigns, and activities aimed at combating hunger and malnutrition. This partnership also extends to initiatives supporting underprivileged students and other groups in need.
Under this extended agreement, the bank provides a year’s worth of basic food supplies to a new group of underprivileged families through monthly parcels. Additionally, Safwa’s employees will continue to volunteer in various programs and campaigns, including preparing hot Iftar meals for fasting individuals at Ramadan’s “Mawa’ed Al Rahman” hosted by TUA.
Through its renewed support, Safwa is enhancing its active community contributions in alignment with its sustainability strategy. These initiatives underscore the bank’s dedication to noble causes and pressing social issues, reinforcing its core value of social solidarity and broadening its impact.

Currently, Tkiyet Um Ali is providing healthy and sustainable food support to 22,000 economically disadvantaged families across the Kingdom. Each family receives monthly food parcels containing 20 essential foodstuffs to meet the family’s nutritional needs for the entire month.
